Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House, House of Commons, Westminster, London.
7-9pm
With the rates of dog bites to humans & tragic deaths due to dangerous dogs on the rise in the UK, APDAWG presents the first in a 3 part event series hosted by canine behaviourists & campaigners Hannah Molloy & Jordan Shelley.
Part 1 brings some of the nation’s finest academics, researchers & front line workers together to raise awareness on what we know, what we don't yet know & outlines the beginning of a strategy to address this complex problem from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
Why are dog bites on the rise? Why have the rates of deaths by dangerous dogs doubled each year for the last 3 years? And how can we begin to flatten the curve of this dog-demic to give dogs back their hard earned title of 'Man’s Best Friend?'
