APDAWG couldn't be more honoured & excited to welcome to Westminster Owen Howkins & his three-legged dog Haatchi, the dream-team double act that have made headlines across the globe; to share with you their incredible story of a remarkable bond, as well as how they've helped each other face adversity.

Owen & Haatchi will tell their story in a special interview with actor & animal welfare campaigner Peter Egan!

This unique meeting will also hear from other Unsung Heroes including:

• Pip Tomson (GMB) & Humane Society International (HSI), talking about rescuing dogs from dog meat farms,
• Tracey Berridge, talking about her charity Dogs Helping Kids,
• Emma J. Ward, talking about the National Military Working Dogs Memorial & role of dogs in war,
• Eileen Jones, talking about her work rescuing & rehabilitating ex-puppy farm breeding dogs with her charity Friends of the Animals Wales.

APDAWG's Unsung Heroes Event will also feature the presentation of the inaugural Philippa Robinson Dog Welfare Award.
