APDAWG Presents: State of UK Rescue

Tues 24 Feb. 5.30-7.30pm. Committee Room 14, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London.

After APDAWG's last 3 hugely popular 'State of UK Rescue' Feb events, which  proudly filled the biggest Committee Room in the UK Houses of Parliament, we will once again looking at the many issues & factors influencing today's UK rescue sector & most importantly finding practical ways forward.

From the ongoing hangover of abandoned pandemic pups to a seemingly never-ending cost-of-living crisis, plus the increasingly compromised mental health of rescue shelter staff & volunteers, the no. of greyhounds currently 'stuck' in the system awaiting spaces at rehoming centres; there's clearly still so much that needs support, improving & fixing.

Worryingly, dog rescue in the UK remains in a state never seen before, so ADAWG is, once again, truly honoured to be joined by some of the most respected voices from across the sector, generously sharing their experiences past & present, plus discussing possible future solutions to these important issues in the Q&A.

Speaker line-up revealed soon.

This meeting will be followed by drinks, food & networking at a nearby hotel bar. Thanks to Agria Pet Insurance for all their generous support.

RSVP details soon.

This will most likely be another popular event with limited places so as always it'll be first come first served & please only RSVP if you can definitely make it.
